Camden Monument Place
At Camden Monument Place, Camden's newest multifamily development in Fairfax, Virginia, there's more than just apartment construction going on. Camden commissioned world-renowned sculptor, John Fisher, to create a monumental marble sculpture of a horse to commemorate the surrounding area and the historic location on which the community is being built. This site chronicles Mr. Fisher's work sharing in words and pictures his progress on the yet-to-be named sculpture.

According to Laura Little, Vice President of Real Estate Investments at Camden Property Trust, Fisher was selected to create this sculpture for the Fairfax community because "his ideas and experience as a marble sculptor fit the feel of the area. Fisher also sculpts on-site, which makes the process of his artwork more interesting and appealing.
